 An addiction to shopping is what drove New York City born and raised former fashion stylist, Melody Piper — known as MelBee Stylez since 2000 — to launch The House of Stylez in late 2013. What began as a virtual personal shopping experience for women too busy for the department store — or without great boutiques nearby — has grown into something more. Melody built the brand in Atlanta, GA, before relocating to Michigan in 2018. In 2022, she moved back to Atlanta Metro, where it all started. Today, The House of Stylez is a Black woman-owned boutique in Snellville, GA, offering the same trend-forward edit of dresses, tops, sets, footwear, and accessories — now available to shop online or in person.
